About Erickson Cycle Tours
We are a team of dedicated and experienced cycling enthusiasts who enjoy nothing better than sharing with friends an energetic ride along an outstanding route. Our tours are designed for intermediate and experienced cyclists, with route
options each day which allow for as much or little challenge as desired. While the cycling is a joy in itself, we also embrace with the same gusto the sightseeing, cafés, and pastry shops, as well as the comforts of our hotel at the end
of the day. Our tours are fully supported by our own van, driver, and mechanic. We are willing and able to handle luggage transport, bicycle problems, and weary cyclists. And of course our able and enthusiastic selves (Glenn, Nancy,
Jim, Marcia, Tim, Galen, Alex, Gilbert, or Kyle) will be in the saddle and on the road each day of the trip.
Accommodations
A comfortable place to relax, re-fuel, and prepare for local sightseeing and for the next day's ride is as important as the cycling itself. We personally select smaller inns which reflect the charm and uniqueness of each region. We insure
with each innkeeper that our needs as a cycling group are met: secure overnight storage for our bikes, and hearty breakfasts and dinners which showcase the local cuisine. These will be primarily 2-4 star hotels with each room appointed
with its own bath/shower and WC.
Group Size
Our groups are limited in size to 20 riders; small enough so that we can stay in the smaller, more personable inns, yet large enough to broaden one’s circle of cycling companions.
The Fine Print
All tour routes and dates are subject to slight change pending confirmation of lodging reservations. Tour price is per person based on double occupancy. Single supplement is $500. Price includes services of the tour escorts, daily detailed
route map with options and highlights, cue sheets, lodging, all breakfasts and most dinners, transport of baggage, mechanical support, sag wagon support, and transfers to and from the gateway airport. Airfare is not included, but we offer
our services in obtaining economical expedient air reservations. We are always happy to arrange before or after tour lodging reservations. |
